Hearing aids are not one size fits all. The right solution to correct an individual’s hearing loss is as unique as a fingerprint. At Albuquerque Hearing and Balance, patients work side-by-side with our audiologists to ensure the hearing aid they are fit with meets their needs.
We will work with you to find the solution that is most beneficial to your hearing loss, communication, lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
Types of hearing aids
There are several things to consider when selecting the right hearing aids for your needs. This includes what styles you prefer and what features will be best for you. Our team offers the following styles:
- In the ear (ITE)
- Behind the ear (BTE)
- In the canal (ITC)
- Completely in canal (CIC)
- Invisible in canal (IIC)
After the patient and audiologist decide on a device, it’s critical to do post-fitting verification (live speech mapping), to assure that all settings are correct to improve the patient’s hearing as much as possible.
Hearing aid manufacturers
No one hearing device or manufacturer is right for every patient. Every individual’s hearing loss is unique. For this reason, we carry devices from multiple manufacturers. We only work with manufacturers with the highest patient satisfaction, on-going research and development and outstanding customer service. Take a moment and explore what they have to offer.
