Meet Emma Green, Au.D.

Emma joined Albuquerque Hearing and Balance in May 2025. While teaching full-time in the Navajo Nation, Emma studied Communication Sciences & Disorders online through Northern Arizona University, and she earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Cincinnati in 2024. Her clinical interests include aural rehabilitation and amplification, cochlear implants in adults, hearing protection for musicians, and tinnitus management. Fun fact: Emma has also tested canine and elephant hearing.

Prior to her work as an audiologist, Emma received her Master’s of Applied Linguistics in 2014 from Old Dominion University in Virginia; she certified as a theatre instructor through Arizona State University and the University of Northern Colorado. She taught English as a Second Language, College Composition, and acting classes for many years before making the bold decision to change careers. She is passionate about communication in any form, whether oral, aural, or written, and bridging the gap between individuals. Outside of work, Emma enjoys weightlifting, singing, and studying film.
