Tara joined Albuquerque Hearing and Balance in November 2025. Tara is a Communication Scientist and Audiologist who brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of Audiology to our team. Tara specializes in diagnosing, counseling, and treating communication disorders including hearing loss, tinnitus, and processing disorders.

Tara has spent the majority of her career as a sound scientist, researching new ways of packaging sound in a way that can be interpreted and easily processed by the brain. She has a true passion for remediating communication, allowing her patients to live their greatest lives.

Outside of the office, Tara can be found leading yoga retreats and women’s circles, appreciating unique architecture and design, and taking part in any and every mountain sport NM has to offer!
